Williamsburgh Housing Association - Medical Adaptations to Existing Properties
The Contract will involve the successful Contractor undertaking medical adaptation and associated works within existing residential dwellings over a three-year period from the commencement date. Currently, Williamsburgh Housing Association undertake and provide approximately Twenty-Five (25) adaptations to existing bathrooms annually to their customers who reside in Paisley, Johnstone, Renfrew, Elderslie and Kilbarchan Renfrewshire.Individual Orders will be issued for each adaptation required during the Contract. Individual Orders may include full medical adaptation works to an existing bathroom or shower room, singular or multiple component works or trades.The scope of works is envisaged to include;Replacement of existing mainstream bathrooms with wet floor bathrooms or shower rooms;Replacement of existing mainstream bathrooms with level access tray shower rooms;Replacement or installation of extract ventilation fans;Electrical works;Wet wall laminated wall boarding or ceramic tiling;Replacement or new installations of individual or multiple components including sanitaryware, wall, floor and ceiling finishes, electrical and lighting works and grabrails;Builderswork including plaster, plasterboard or timber finishing works.All major adaptation works, including walk-in shower room and overbath shower works, must be completed by the Contractor within four calendar weeks (twenty-eight calendar da...
