- Through this research we aim to understand youth ages 18 to 30 perceptions of media trust and solutions to misinformation and disinformation in the Western Balkans. This builds on existing British Council programming and partnerships in the region as well as our longstanding interest in research on youth perceptions globally through our Next Generation programme. Next Generation is a research programme that gathers data to explore the needs, potential and aspirations of young people globally aged between 16 and 35. This includes data on what sources young people use to access information and levels of trust in different media.
