Description:
Network Rail Infrastructure Limited (Wales & Western Region) is seeking early engagement with the supply chain to inform the upcoming procurement for the installation and removal of Level Crossings and Road Rail Access Points (RRAP) across the Wales & Western region. The proposed framework will support the delivery of planned, reactive, and minor works relating to the installation, removal, surfacing, and reinstatement of proprietary crossing systems and RRAPs in accordance with manufacturer and Network Rail standards. This includes the provision of associated surface dressings, white lining, and minor civils reinstatement works. The purpose of this engagement is to: Understand current market capability, capacity, and interest. Seek feedback on the framework structure, lotting strategy, and commercial approach. Identify potential risks, challenges, and innovations that could improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Support the design of a fair and inclusive Competitive Flexible Procedure. It is currently envisaged that the framework will be divided into regional lots, covering: Lot 1 - Western Route Lot 2 - South Wales Lot 3 - North Wales The anticipated scope will include works undertaken under planned possession and blockade arrangements, as well as reactive maintenance and minor project delivery.
