Tree Planting Support Services
The aim of the tender and contract is to provide external support to the SYMCA in establishing and running a Tree Giveaway Scheme.The Scheme provider will be responsible for the design and delivery of a scheme aimed to:1. Giveaway over 30,000 trees in suitably sized packs to community groups in South Yorkshire.2. Provide an online portal through which groups can apply for “tree packs”3. Provide generic guidance on the suitability of areas for tree planting.4. Maintain a register of the groups who have received the trees.5. Provide on-line support services to the groups to help with planting.6. Provide on-line advice on aftercare for the planted trees.7. Provide on-the-ground support services where the scale of planting warrants this level of assistance, suppliers are invited to illustrate through case study where they have previously provided this service, and at what scale of planting this support would be needed.8. Provide all back-office function necessary for the delivery of the Scheme.9. Procure the tree packs from traceable suppliers within the UK.10. Deliver the Tree Packs to the recipient groups.
