    Description : Sefton Council are seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to undertake classified traffic counts and surveys across the borough of Sefton for a period of 3 years from 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2027 with an option to extend on a year by year basis to 31st March 2029 subject to performance (3 + 1 + 1). The count information will be used to assess traffic conditions, pedestrian and cycle activity in different locations across the Borough, in order to provide a basis for assessment and possible further development into traffic schemes, area studies and different options for junctions. Anticipated surveys required as part of this contract are:β€’ Turning Count Surveysβ€’ Automatic Traffic Countsβ€’ Car Park Surveys using ANPRβ€’ On street parking surveysβ€’ ANPR with ATC β€’ Radar Surveys for vehicle speed β€’ On Street Interviewsβ€’ Annual Pedestrian Crossing ReviewThe number and type of counts required during the term of the Contract can't be determined with any accuracy at this stage.
