The Installation Of A Roof Mounted Solar Pv System, Replacement Of Heating And Hot Water Boiler Plant And Kitchen Equipment At Barrs Court Primary School, South Gloucestershire.
The project requirement over the summer 2023 period is:i. Replacement of the existing gas fired boiler plant with new packaged external air source heat pumps, new primary and secondary distribution pumps, new plant room pipework and associated systems.ii. New controls system for the new heating.iii. Replacement of heat emitters throughout the building.iv. Construction of external plant enclosure (concrete base and fence) for the new air source heat pump units.v. Replace gas kitchen catering equipment with electric modelsvi. Installation of a roof mounted solar PV system.at Barrs Court Primary School, St Stephens Drive, Longwell Green, South Gloucestershire, BS30 7JBThis work is being undertaken as part of the Council-s 2023/24 Schools Capital Repair and Maintenance Programme. Partial funding for the project has also been received from the Public Sector Decarbonisation Fund Phase 3b.The Council is seeking a Gas SafeTM/ NICEIC Approved Electrical Contractor to act as Principal Contractor with the capability and experience to manage specialist sub-contractors to undertake and execute the contract works. The Council will not consent to the whole of the works to be sub-contracted.
