Brief description: We are looking for a Technical Accounting Manager on a temporary basis. Duties and responsibilities include: • Prepare for the 2021/22 year-end process by reviewing the current timetable and task list and identifying any processes that can be completed • Lead on the production of the 2021/22 Statement of Accounts and manage the team that support the year end process • Prepare working papers for the external audit process • The candidate will need excellent and up to date knowledge of Local Government accounting requirements and the Accounting Code of Practice.
