Description:
The Borough Council of Bolton (The Authority) are prepared to receive tenders for Round 3 of the Care Home Contract - Flexible Purchasing System (FPS), which will be subject to the information, specification and tender package enclosed.

To fulfil our obligations under the Care Act 2014, the Care Home Contract (FPS) relates to the delivery of residential care in care homes and care homes with nursing - This opportunity is for Bolton based Care Home Providers only.

The procurement will be an open tender but will be operating as a Flexible Purchasing System (FPS) which is an open FPS agreement allowing providers to join the FPS agreement during the term via rounds.

Rounds will be opened at certain times during the term when there is a requirement of provision - minimum once a year.

The term of the Flexible Purchasing System will until 23 February 2029.

Please note that any Provider who have been awarded a Contract for Round 1 or 2, via The Chest DO NOT NEED to re-tender for this Round.
