Description:
Tenders are invited for Derry City and Strabane District Council seeks to appoint a suitably qualified contractor for the upgrade of the existing Patrician Villas- MUGA, Strabane, County Derry/Londonderry. The works primarily comprise the undertaking of a certified design, fabrication, supply and erection of a new netted roof cover to the existing fenced MUGA, including the supporting structure to the new roof cover and replacement of the existing synthetic grass carpet, associated shockpad and other ancillary works. In addition to liaising with the ICT and Client, the Contractor will also be expected to liaise with various Local Community Groups to coordinate the works which will take place beside the adjacent/existing play facility and carpark; as well as ensuring that access arrangements are developed to effectively maintain the security of the site, whilst considering the Health and Safety and well-being of Derry City and Strabane District Council-s employees and members of the public. Patrician Villas- Play Park will remain opened to the public and all works shall therefore take place within a live environment. Please refer to the CfT documents for further detail.
