Abstract: The Sustainable Environment Research Centre(SERC) at USW has a requirement for a bioreactor vessel as part of OxyHyH2O pilot plant construction as part of the WEFO-funded RICE project. The OxyHyH2O aims to investigate the aerobic treatment of wastewater using pure oxygen derived from renewable H2 production. To facilitate this research, a new pilot plant facility will be set up within the Sustainable Environment Research Centre at USW. In particular, we require that the system is able to treat 2L/min of wastewater in a short retention time. For this purpose, a 70L working volume bioreactor vessel is required.
