Description : The purpose of this Periodic Indicative Notice (PIN) is to notify the supply market of Network Rail's future tender opportunity for the provision of structure gauging measurement surveys. Interested parties shall be capable of carrying out structure surveys by use of part/fully automated surveying platforms.
Structure gauging measurement surveys are required where a structure has not been surveyed within the frequencies dictated by the standards (NR/TRK/3201 and NR/TRK/3203) and where the Structure Gauging Train (SGT) is not able to capture survey data, either because it is in a location not reachable by the SGT train or as it's in an area that will not be captured often enough by the SGT train.
