Description : The University of Plymouth is seeking for an an initial estimate by way of day/week rates for a specialist move contractor to undertake the relocation of a range of scientific and heavy engineering equipment during the summer of 2023. Works will include decommissioning, dismantling, and moving identified items of equipment and installation, testing, calibrating where appropriate and commissioning in the new building. The equipment schedule and moves programme is still to be confirmed after various tenders for new equipment have concluded - hence the request for high level day/week rates and our preference to engage with contractors that will work with a degree of flexibility regarding programme until this has been confirmed in early 2023.
