- FBRS JV is seeking a specialist consultancy to undertake a structured technical review and impact assessment of the updated Railway Survey Standard Revision P02. The purpose of this commission is to support the project team in understanding the practical implications of the revised standard and to help inform project delivery planning across the Rail Systems lots (HRS13, HRS14 and HRS15).
The review will assess how the requirements in Revision P02 may influence survey methodology, resourcing, programme, constructability and associated delivery considerations. The consultancy will also support FBRS in preparing any clarification queries needed to ensure the standard is fully and consistently interpreted.
Scope of Services
The consultancy will complete the work in three structured stages:
1. Initial Technical Review
Review Railway Survey Standard Revision P02 and any referenced materials.
Provide a high level assessment of the clarity, practicality and feasibility of the requirements.
Identify any areas where further clarification may support consistent interpretation or implementation.
2. Preparation of Clarification Queries
Develop a set of structured technical queries to be submitted by FBRS where further detail or confirmation would support planning and implementation.
Clearly state assumptions where appropriate and present questions in a clear, structured format.
