Description : This scheme is part of the European Regional Development Funding (ERDF) which is a fund used to provide money for specific projects to support economic development in countries and regions across Europe.
The objective of this requirements is to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced economic operator, or economic operators, to carry out thermal improvement works to existing aluminium bungalow stock within the contracting authority's south region.
The form of contract is expected to be NEC3 - Engineering Construction Short Contract (ECSC).
The Open Procedure is expected to be used with an award criteria based on 100 % price.
Economic operators will need to provide details of two example contracts demonstrating experience off undertaking works similar in nature to those specified within the tender documents in the 7 years before the tender submission deadline.
The initial contract period is anticipated to be for 4 months.
Economic Operators are responsible for ensuring their constructionline account is up to date.
