South Cambridgeshire District Council are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced company to: Tender for Design and Build (including demolition of existing) Area 1 Demolish and clear site, Design and Construct 1 x Block of 7 Garages & 1 x block of 8 Garages- Laceys way, Duxford.Area 2 Clear site, Design and construct 1 x block of 8 garage size storage units with house style locking PVC door. Rectory Road, DuxfordSCDC will require the successful contractor to provide a customer focused service and show a commitment to providing an effective service that provides value for money to the Council and its residents. General description of works: Design , demolish existing including the safe removal and disposal of asbestos roof sheets, supply and erect 7 & 8 No. prefabricated concrete garage units, 8 No. prefabricated storage units using existing concrete base and connecting to existing soakaways. A. Prefabricated panels to be of Pebble dash construction B. Roofing material to be that of steel box profile with a weather proof anti-glare coating C.
