The intent of this purchase is to deliver a small lightweight Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) to deliver development in two phases. Phase one is to develop concepts for the employment of AUV platform as future oceanographic military data gathering platform. Phase two is to develop and test new sensors, sensor systems and techniques to inform future acquisitions.
