Description : ScopeThe scope of the project is to replace Pirbright's environmental monitoring system, thus ensuring the continuous status of critical temperature dependant facilities and supporting crucial intellectual property in the form of biological material and critical environmental conditions (animal units and insectary). The system must provide a lifespan of a minimum of 15 years from commissioning, to ensure that temperature dependant facilities, and other critical scientific equipment, continues to be adequately monitored. Supporting IT, networking hardware and software across site will also require replacement and upgrade. Ideally the system will be future proofed to accept any changes within Pirbright's future Development Programme.
