Abstract: Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council (BCP Council) seek tenders for a contractor to service, install and maintain SALTO door access control equipment.BCP Homes owns a number of residential buildings containing a SALTO access system. In total we currently have 1040 individual SALTO door locks spread among the estateSALTO is a centrally controlled access control system, it allows users to access doors fitted with the SALTO hardware using a fob rather than a traditional key. The key benefits of the system is that it allows BCP to designate and alter fob users door entry permissions remotely using the SALTO software. We are also able to audit fob usage across the estate which has historically proven useful in a number of contexts including anti social behaviour investigations.
