Abstract: HCC requires a supplier to provide in-depth research into practices undertaken throughout global sheep meat supply chains that support extended shelf-life of lamb. This work will include a potential mix of in-person and remote interviews with those within the supply chain.The research should include a capture of how different practices have been adopted and implemented with the aim of extending lamb shelf-life. This would include reviewing animal cleanliness guidelines, plant design, moisture and temperature control and packaging techniques.The research will support the whole supply chains understanding of techniques and process that can extend lamb shelf life and will build on work already being delivered, more information on this can be found at: https://meatpromotion.wales/en/industry-resources/sheep-management/shelf-life
