Project Description: The Ministry of Defence (MOD) and Crown Commercial Service (CCS) are designing an open framework to provide tactical communication and information systems, including hardware, software, and associated design, implementation and support services. Requirements are to be deployed in operational and battlefield environments for critical real-time operational tactical communications, with potential cross-government Defence and Security sectoral applications. The Framework will enable procurement of tactical communication and information systems at all stages of the acquisition lifecycle.
