Description : Quantity Surveying services for the RIBA Stage 3 to end of the St Paul's External Lighting project.Project Objectives- Create a flexible new lighting scheme that highlights the architecture of the Cathedral to create a character, image and identity after-dark that is fit for the 21st century;- Replace the current lighting equipment which is approaching the end of its life with a new more effective and efficient system that aligns to the current IET regulations, and meets the criteria of the City's Lighting Strategy, creating a highly attractive night-time appearance for the cathedral;- Deliver annual savings of approximately 50% of running costs (electrical and maintenance);- Reduce light pollution and energy use in line with the Corporation's commitment to sustainability and contribute towards achieving its net zero carbon emission by 2040;- Improve the quality of the evening environment in the local area and reinforce the views of St. Paul's Cathedral across London as a whole; and- Facilitate the readiness of the Cathedral for forthcoming events of national and global importance.Please see Consultant Brief located within tender documents.
