- The National Barrier Asset consists of a collection of Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) owned vehicle security barriers & protective security fencing collectively termed the "National Barrier Asset" (NBA). The NBA is deployed to block roads, footways & other locations to prevent/mitigate Vehicle borne threats from a Vehicle as a Weapon (VAW) Attack or as a Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) against infrastructure, persons & publicly accessible locations.
