Abstract: The project is entitled Proposed Extension to Llanrhos CemeteryThe project is located approximately 400m south of A470/ B5115 (Conway Rd) roundabout. Site access/egress can be identified with ‘Mynwent Lawnt Llanrhos Lawn Cemetery- signage located in the verge on the southbound lane. The site is surrounded on all sides by agricultural land.Site clearance will mainly consist of; removing existing verge and boundary fencing. Moderate earthworks with level changes at selected areas.Construction of a new lawn cemetery with additional memorial and cremated remains spaces as well as associated footpaths and hardstanding areas. The above will also require the inclusion of a piped surface drainage system, which will drain into a new retention pond. No vehicular access or roadways are proposed as part of this development.Landscaping at the selected areas will include planting a mix of native hedgerow, trees, flowering and grass species.
