Description:
The Office for National Statistics is the UK's largest independent producer of official statistics and is the recognised NSI for the UK. The Authority is also responsible for collecting and publishing statistics related to the economy, population and society at national, regional and local levels. The Authority also conducts the census in England and Wales every ten years. The Office for National Statistics is seeking expressions of interest (EoI) from interested parties in a potential future procurement opportunity, as detailed below. Requirements for Index of Services (iOS) The monthly Index of Services (iOS) provides a timely indicator of growth in the output of the services industries and is the largest contributor to the output approach to the measurement of gross domestic product (GDP), accounting for 79.3% of UK GDP in 2015. We require data that will feed into the real estate activities sector where we are specifically looking for data to cover letting of own property other than dwellings. We publish data on real estate across three industries. • Buying, selling, renting, and operating of own or leased real estate • Imputed Rent • Real estate activities on a fee or contract basis.
