Description:
East Sussex County Council (ESCC) is seeking to procure a new contract for the haulage, sorting and marketing of approx. 45,000 to 50,000 tonnes of Dry Mixed Recyclables (DMR) collected by the Authority's five District and Borough Councils. The current contract expires on 28th June 2026. The new contract length is still to be decided. To help inform our procurement we will be sending out a request for information on Monday 27th October 2025 for suppliers to complete by Friday 21st November 2025. Once we have received and reviewed the responses, the Council reserves the right to seek further clarification via email or through a face to face meeting (virtually). The clarification process will be concluded by Friday 5th December 2025 should it be required.
