Description : Transport for London (TfL) currently manages more than 650 bus routes in London. Each bus route is operated by a Bus Operator and is contracted by TfL based on a Schedule. However, there are times due to incidents on the transport network that diversions have to be put in place. For this Transport for London (TfL) uses Notice of Events. It is important that information regarding those diversions are easily entered into a system, transferred to third parties and customers in an understandable format and can be ingested into downstream systems. This project intends to deliver a system that will enable TfL users to document bus disruptions digitally on a map rather than in free text. The primary objective is to share this diversion path with passengers to support journey planning. The secondary objective is improved efficiency of internal processes for example the creation of publicity and officially informing bus operators.The new solution is intended for use by operational users who spend limited time in an office environment.
