- North Yorkshire Council requires the provision for parents/carers of children and young people with SEND to have the opportunity to express their views and influence SEND service delivery through engagement and co-production. The Service will ensure that the views of parent/carers across the 5 SEND localities (Hambleton & Richmondshire/ Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon/ Scarborough, Whitby, Ryedale/ Craven/ Selby) in North Yorkshire are expressed and used to influence decisions around SEND and Inclusion via the SEND and AP Partnership Board and Locality Boards. All parents/carers of children and young people with SEND aged between 0-25 years and across the range of needs are required to be given the opportunity to participate.
