Description : The Children's Trust wishes to establish a contract for the provision of a Young Carers service providing a range of services to support carers, including an assessment and intervention service for young carers and their families across the city. The service will deliver a range of intervention responses to meet the diverse needs of young carers. The young carers service will provide interventions to young people and their families that support Birmingham Children's Trust vision and practice model, as outlined in the service specification. Interventions will be grounded in the relationship-based tradition, and influenced by systemic, strengths based and restorative approaches. The young carers service will work to the Early Help guidelines, as outlined in 'Working Together to Safeguard Children (2023)' and 'Birmingham's Early Help Strategy' (2021-2023).
