Description : Market Engagement Notice (MEN)Newcastle University requires a CCTV Management System platform capable of meeting the following high-level requirements as outlined in the 'Additional Details' section below.The purpose of the project is to replace the existing obsolete CCTV Management System platform that has been operating an unsupported version of the application on an unsupported operating system (Windows Vista).The existing system also uses bulky and mechanical recorders without any back-up facility, which means a catastrophic failure can mean no feedback can be obtained.This MEN is designed to alert the market to our future intent to tender for this requirement and to give prospective bidders the opportunity to identify and implement a new system that (i) is compatible with existing cameras (ii) can handle the volume of cameras in our estates with provision of required storage and backup capacity (iii) has either been successfully implemented within another UK research-intensive Higher Education Institution or an educational establishment of equivalent size and scale.
