Description : This is a notice to advertise the upcoming market engagement event for the National Security Science and Research team within the Department for Transport. The event is to present to the market what the Department for Transport's NSSR team is working on, brief description into what works have been done so far, what the indicative plans are moving forward and at a high level - describing how we would need support in meeting our goals from industry. The event will cover background to the team and then go into the respective themes. These themes include: - Behavioural Science. - Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems. - Systems and Analysis - Bulk Detection (X-ray and non-contact screening) - Vulnerability assessment - Design of experiments/statistical support and - Programme management services in benefits realisation and communications. After the themes have been presented, we will keep the chat bar open and capture any questions which we will endeavour to allocate some time to, at the end of the session - to try and answer.
