• Description:
• Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust ("MEH") and the Institute of Ophthalmology, University College London ("UCL IoO") are seeking to procure move management and decanting services to support the relocation of services into a new building. The procurement is intended to secure the services of a Tier 1 move management provider to plan, manage and deliver a complex, multi-site move, including clinical areas, research and wet laboratory environments, and administrative functions. The contract scope will include (but is not limited to) the coordinated relocation of hospital services and associated assets, including wet laboratories, specialist and associated equipment, information technology equipment, fridges and freezers, chemicals, and laboratory items including biological samples, together with general administrative facilities. The appointed provider will be required to deliver a safe, controlled and sequenced move approach that maintains service continuity and manages the particular constraints and risks associated with clinical operations and laboratory environments. MEH and UCL IoO intend to appoint one provider to undertake the move for both organisations, reflecting site and logistics constraints (including limited loading arrangements) and the need for integrated planning and delivery across both organisations.
