Description:
Bradley Stoke Town Council is the parish authority for Bradley Stoke. It is the second tier of local government after the South Gloucestershire Council. Its legal powers are granted to it and regulated by various government acts. The town population is of approximately 20,000. The Town Council supplements the provision of local government services in Bradley Stoke, and provides a range of social and recreational facilities, while promoting and representing the town with other national and statutory bodies. Scope of Work - The contractor shall design, supply, install, test, and commission a complete solar photovoltaic (PV) system with integrated battery storage at the Jubilee Centre. System Requirements - 84 photovoltaic (PV) panels, Orientation: +60° from south Inclination: 30° from horizontal 1 no. Inverter 4 Batteries Capacity may not exceed 50kWp. Bird Proofing for the solar panels Standards and Compliance The contractor must ensure: • Compliance with MCS standards, SSEG Engineering Recommendation G98(2019) and G99. • Conformance with current Building Regulations. • Coordination with the local Distribution Network Operator (DNO) for grid connection. • Notification to Building Control under Part P of the Building Regulations.
