Falkland Islands Government (FIG) wishes to invite tenders for provision of 8 professional Compliance Observers to the Falkland Islands Loligo Fishing fleet during the First ‘C- and Second ‘X- Fishing Seasons. The Program in the Loligo Fishery is essential to warrant the correct implementation of bycatch mitigation measures, to understand the seal interactions occurring within a particular season, monitor seabird interactions, monitor bycatch levels and monitor compliance within the fleet.
