Description : Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council ("the Council") are looking for an experienced, professional organisation (The Operator), to undertake the future delivery of Tennis at Basingstoke Indoor Tennis Centre, (consisting of four indoor and four outdoor tennis courts and the John Arlott Pavilion located in War Memorial Park), and the Tennis Courts located at Stratton Park. The successful tenderer will be provided an exclusive right to commercially operate and deliver tennis at these facilities on the basis of a concessionary contract arrangement. The operator will gain the right to exploit these facilities through payment, so as to allow them to run the facilities and operate a profit; a set percentage of which shall be shared to the Council. By nature of a concessionary contract tenderers must be aware that operational risk of an economic nature will be borne by the tenderer and no cost will be provided by the Council.Occupation and use of the facilities will be granted to the successful tenderer rent, free by way of lease from The Council as owner.The p...
