- Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council (SMBC) are committed to commissioning high-quality, cost-effective services that meet the diverse needs across Sandwell. SMBC is currently preparing a future procurement of the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme, this Programme is a vital way in which we can deliver improved outcomes for all children, young people and families across Sandwell. This preliminary market engagement seeks to share with any interested organisation: - Information about the Sandwell context - Executive summary and key findings from the 0-19 health needs assessment - The current and proposed delivery model of the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme - Our vision and key recommendations for the future contract - A procurement brief - A tabletop activity to support the development of the specification The event will be an opportunity to share insights and collaborate on shaping the future of child and family health services within Sandwell. The Market Engagement event is an in-person event and will take place on Thursday 5th February 2026, arrival at 9.15am for the event to start at 9.30am and end by 12.30pm, at Brasshouse Community Centre, Brasshouse Lane, Smethwick, West Midlands, B66 1BA. Lunch will be served from 12.30pm to 1.30pm to provide an opportunity for networking (Please note: - Parking at the venue is available, however it is limited.
