Abstract: The MOD requires an Open-Source Intelligence service that provides timely Indicators and Warnings(I&W) from publicly available information (PAI) sources. The I&W toolset will be web-based(accessible by any web browser) and enable the MOD to exploit a variety of real time sources. Thesolution will generate defence related alerts and feeds from a broad scope of emerging events withworldwide coverage. Alerts and feeds will be delivered in a variety of methods, include platformgenerated verification scoring and enable content to be translated from native script into English.The user will access alerts and data via API, have the ability to continuously customise alerts andfeeds, set priority levels, and conduct trend analysis of historical alerting data. Users will beprovided initial training (preferably online) and additional training, as required. MOD administratorswill determine user logs, monitor/audit account usage and carry out general user managementactivities.
