Description : The purpose of this brief is to seek the services of an experienced Consultant to address the ford at Butter Beck within the River Esk catchment to create a more naturally functioning river and to improve fish passage.This site is a Highways site so the Consultant will need to be experienced in working with Highways Departments to deliver environmental sensitive infrastructure improvements to highways, likely via a S278 agreement. The consultant will:1 Produce detailed design drawings to satisfy all consenting and Highways requirements, including contractor installation method2 Obtain Technical Approval from NYCC Highways Department for proposed design3 Obtain all consents required to undertake the works, likely to include but not limited to: S278 agreement; updating previously submitted Land Drainage Consent application; providing design and advice to Blue Corridors Project Officers to enable reconsult on planning application for variation to work; prepare and obtain Street Works permit along with a diversion plan4 Procur...
