Abstract: Stafford Borough Council are seeking to appoint a single multi-disciplinary team to work withthem to drive delivery of the proposed mixed-use scheme from inception to completion.It is expected that the team appointed will provide all technical professional services to supportthe Council to deliver the scheme from reviewing, refining and agreeing the brief, through initialdesign, securing planning permission, contractor engagement and appointment, constructionand on to handover, final account and the end of the defects liability period. It is expected thatthis professional team will include expertise in Project, Cost and Contract Management,Development, Planning, Design, Engineering, and the Environment sufficient to deliver theproject.The current expectation is that the appointed team will develop the design to secure planningpermission before/in parallel with engaging with a design and build contractor on a design andbuild contract.
