- Homes England is seeking a ground investigation contractor to provide sufficient ground related works to enable Homes England's and prospective developers to understand the ground conditions and any associated risks. The site is located on Ripon Barracks, Clotherholme site. The ground investigation works can be summarised as: • Clearance of all exploratory hole locations to PAS128 Type B M3p including production of clearance certificates. • Hand dug inspection pits • Concrete / Macadam Coring to facilitate exploratory holes • Structural concrete cores to investigate current building foundation thickness • Cable Percussion Boreholes • Wire-line Geo-Bore S Rotary Boreholes • Dynamic Sampling with dual purpose rotary/dynamic sampling rigs • Window Sampling boreholes with terrier Rig or similar with disturbed and undisturbed sampling • Heavy Dynamic Cone Penetrometer Testing with dual purpose rotary/dynamic sampling rigs • 50mm internal diameter gas/water monitoring installations • Photo ionisation Detector testing • PAK Marker Testing • Survey of exploratory hole location and evaluation • Groundwater Monitoring and sampling of instrumentation after end of fieldworks • Gas Monitoring and sampling of instrumentation after end of fieldworks • Geotechnical and geoenvironmental testing • Provision of factual ground investigation data (Factual Report, AGS, EsDAT) The estimated value exclusive of VAT for this project is £260,000 - £300,000 The estimated value inclusive of VAT for this...
