Hire Of Suction Machines
Blackpool Council is looking to appoint a single Supplier to provide Suction Machines and suction catheters on a hire basis.
Blackpool Council and NHS Blackpool jointly commission a Community Equipment Service for Adults and Children across Blackpool, which is administered by Blackpool Equipment Service (BES). Clinical services are provided by Clinicians, including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nursing Services and Trusted Assessors. The provision of equipment is jointly funded by the Council and NHS Blackpool.
The Supplier will be required to work in partnership with the BES to supply equipment directly to Service User-s homes and health and social care facilities across Blackpool.
Blackpool Council wishes to appoint a Contractor/s who can clearly demonstrate the ability to meet our requirements and who offers the most economically advantageous bid.
It is anticipated that the contract term will be from 01 December 2024 to 31 August 2025, with the option to extend incrementally for two years (1y + 1y) (subject to contract review and budget availability).
