Description:
The Council is seeking Stage 1 tender responses from lift installation contractors with experience of installing lifts in a multi storey building that is open to the public. The processes involves a Regulated Below-Threshold Shortlisting Process based on Technical Requirements as permitted under the Procurement Act 2023, Part 6, Section 85 for Works contracts valued over £213,477. Submissions will be evaluated and shortlisted to invite final tender responses. The refurbishment works will comprise of the replacement of lift motor room equipment and refurbishment of the lift cars. Some enabling works will be required consisting of the replacement of the lift motor room access hatch and load testing of any lift motor room lifting beams or anchor points that are to be utilised.
