- Harehill Extra Care Service
Harehill is a purpose built scheme owned by Rochdale Borough Housing (RBH -landlord). The scheme has 43 units of accommodation and Rochdale Borough Council (RBC) have an agreement to nominate to 35 out of 43 units of accommodation, 8 units remain the responsibility of RBH. If people that occupy the 8 units develop care needs these will become RBC responsibility.
Extra Care enables those that enter the service to be supported to live more independently, live and age well and to be supported to live more independently.
RBH are commissioned to deliver the service as the Registered Social Landlord and Care Provider.
New contract following tender exercise to commence 2 September 2024 for 3 years with the option to extend for up to a further 2 years.
