- Leicestershire County Council and Rutland County Council (the Council's) are seeking a provider to design, develop and deliver a training programme for professionals on gambling related harm, and to produce a standalone educational resource pack to support the delivery of sessions on gambling related harm to children & young people, aged 11 to 19. The training programme will include three offers: • Basic awareness raising and knowledge around gambling related harms training for professionals working with children and young people (CYP) • Basic awareness raising and knowledge around gambling related harms training for professionals working with adults • A train the trainer offer for professionals who work with CYP or adults to equip them with the knowledge and ability to train others, and a train the trainer network The training will be tailored to the Council's and increase professionals' knowledge and awareness of gambling related harm. Those attending the training will gain confidence and skills in identifying and responding to the risks and signs of gambling related harm using stigma free language. They will also be provided with training documentation, advice and support, during and following the training.? The train the trainer offer will equip attendees with the knowledge, ability and confidence to train other professionals, and provide sustainability for the delivery of the training programme within Leicestershire and Rutland.
