The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to notify the market of Belfast Labour Market Partnership-s (BLMP) intention to hold a pre-market engagement (PME) session with interested parties to inform them of a new Gateway to Choices Service (GtCS) which will be put out to tender later this year.

Abstract: The new GtCS will be a specialist triage support resource which will help Belfast residents who are part of the target group (i.e. long-term unemployed, economically inactive, under-employed) through referrals to appropriate existing provision and utilise all existing funding mechanisms and interventions, including those in health. The ultimate goal of the GtCS is to get more of those further back in the labour market to engage in existing provision which is there to support their employability and skills journey towards employment. The contract holder will also be expected to create an integrated framework of employability and skills provision in the city (and beyond), ensuring support for Belfast residents through GtCS.
