Abstract: Southwark Council is publishing this Prior Information Notice to inform suitably experienced nursing care providers of a future contract opportunity for delivering nursing care services.The council is intending to publish a contract opportunity in February 2024 (subject to internal governance) seeking an experienced nursing care provider to run a nursing home within the borough. This notice is to gauge the level of market interest in entering negotiations with the council for the provision of nursing care services.The council intends to publish a competitive tender where prospective bidders will prequalify prior to submitting an initial proposal that will be evaluated prior to the commencement of the negotiations.The council is looking to commission nursing care services that will focus on the outcomes that residents want and value and work with a provider able to meet the increasing complexity of need in the borough as well as collaborate with both social care and health profess...
