- Currently, the Council manages four contracts for the treatment of organic waste. These include Biogen (Hoddesdon AD and Lackford, Suffolk open windrow), Cumberlow Green (IVC), Elleteq (Cattlegate Farm open windrow), and Severn Trent Green Power (STGP (Formerly Agrivert) - South Mimms IVC and Coursers Farm/North London AD). These contracts are due to expire between October 2024 and the beginning of April 2025 and therefore the re-procurement of these contracts will need to commence in 2023 for award in early 2024.
