- Foundation for Good is embarking on a comprehensive refurbishment project for its community building located at 11-19 Trafalgar Street, Consett, County Durham. This project, funded by the Community Ownership Fund, aims to enhance the facility's functionality, accessibility, and sustainability to better serve the local community.
Scope of Work:
The project includes the following key elements:
Demolition and Removal:
Careful removal of non-load-bearing interior partitions, existing flooring, and suspended ceiling systems.
Structural demolition including the removal of staircases, sections of brickwork to create new doorways, and the sealing of a former loading bay.
Handling and disposal of hazardous materials such as asbestos following all health and safety regulations.
Structural Works:
