Description : The Department for Transport (DfT) invites proposals for the provision of a Flight Schedules Data Subscription Service. Bidders intending to bid for this requirement must submit proposals via the DfT e-Sourcing platform, Jaggaer: https://dft.app.jaggaer.com/web/login.htmlThe deadline for the submission of bids via the Jaggaer platform will be 12:00pm (noon) on 16th November 2021.Covid-19 has caused widespread disruption across the global aviation industry and subsequently affected global travel trends. The DfT requires access to a detailed dataset on flight schedules to monitor the capacity of the aviation sector and respond to any business-critical disruption in air transport, including the Covid-19 pandemic. To both anticipate and identify disruptions to flights, the DfT requires detailed information about flight schedules at UK and overseas airports in an accessible format which is easy to analyse. The service should enable unrestricted download of data snapshots, both forward looking and historical, at least on a weekly basis.
