Description : NHS England is currently requesting additional information from potential suppliers. To commisison an independent supplier to proceed with a comprehensive analysis to understand the current financial situation for pharmacy contractor models of various sizes, looking across NHS and non-NHS work, and across geographic locations. As a part of the final negotiated Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF) (year 4 and year 5) deal, NHSE publicly made a binding commitment to "commission an economic analysis of NHS pharmaceutical services through an independent review, using data provided by contractors, and [to] work with PSNC on the review." This information will be critical to both NHSE and HMT inform any SR bids and future pharmacy negotiations.
