Description : 1.1 The EYFS sets the statutory requirements and standards that all early years providers must meet for children aged 0-5 and are held to account on by Ofsted. The reforms to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) will become statutory from September 2021 and will impact all early years providers in England, including primary schools with reception provision. We have allowed c.3000 primary schools the opportunity to become early adopter schools and implement the reforms one year early from September 2020 on a voluntary basis.
